NZACS is a co-operative run by and for its members. Established in 1972 to provide quality professional indemnity insurance to the architecture industry through collective buying power, NZACS now has extensive membership including most New Zealand architecture firms.
Being an NZACS member means additional support is available from our Claims Committee, who are there to advise and support members in the instance of a claim.
NZACS exists to support our members in managing risk. We do this primarily by arranging professional indemnity insurance to the architecture industry in a cost-effective manner through collective buying power. We provide claims support assistance by experienced practitioners in the event of a claim.
We also embrace education and advocacy on behalf of our members.
Overall we aim to provide “peace of mind”.
In the event of an actual or potential claim our Claims Committee of experienced and practising architects is available for support, advice and risk assessment and to liaise between the NZACS member, insurers and legal and technical inputs.
As an NZACS member you can access Professional Indemnity Insurance on terms specifically tailored by architects for architects.
NZACS introduces a new annual scholarship for employees and principals of member firms, offering up to $25,000 for education, research, and training in commercial and risk management. Apply by 30th November.
